Introduction
Circle Time, a common practice in early childhood and elementary education, can be effectively utilized as sensory time for students. Incorporating sensory activities during Circle Time engages multiple senses, which can enhance learning, focus, and emotional regulation. Some ways that can be integrated for sensory experiences into Circle Time are sensory stories and song, interactive activities, visual support, auditory engagement, movement and body awareness, and emotional regulation tools.
Some of the benefits of implementing circle time are social development, improving language and communication skills, improving cognitive skills, emotional development, improving motor skills, instilling a disciplined attitude, and stimulating students creativity.
